Work through the checks
1
Confirm it actually launched
Open the sequence and read its status. One still marked Draft never launched, whatever the canvas looks like.
2
Check the sending window
Open the Settings tab’s Schedule section and check the Sending window. Anything due outside it waits for the next opening.
3
Check the daily cap
Each mailbox carries a Daily send limit. Once today’s sends hit it, the rest wait for tomorrow.
4
Check the sender's mailbox
A sender with no connected mailbox sends nothing. On the Senders tab, look for a sender marked as having no mailboxes, or one whose mailbox reads as disconnected, and reconnect it.
5
Check the audience
Open the Audience tab. Its preview names how many rows will be enrolled and why the rest are not: no address, on the do-not-contact list, or already enrolled in this sequence.
6
Check your balance
Sending pauses the moment credits run out. Buy credits, and the sequence resumes where it stopped.
Good to know
Why does a send wait even though the sequence is running?
Why does a send wait even though the sequence is running?
It’s due outside the configured window rather than stuck. See Set the schedule and sending window for how the window and its pacing work.
Why does the editor say the sequence paused itself?
Why does the editor say the sequence paused itself?
A banner reading Paused automatically names the reason, like every assigned mailbox disconnecting or the workspace running out of credits. Fix it and the sequence resumes on its own, and every contact keeps its place.
