Chat is the AI Assistant as a place you can go. Ask it about your workspace or for a change, and find every conversation you have had with it.

Open Chat

Chat sits alone at the top of the sidebar, above Data. The command palette finds it too: press Cmd+K, or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux. Chat lists your conversations on the left and the open one on the right. On a phone-width window the two take turns, with New conversation above the list.

Use it on any page

The same AI Assistant is docked on the right of every page. On a table, a lead search or an agent editor, the panel is that page’s own assistant with everything it already does. Anywhere else it is Chat, answering from your business context. Hide AI Assistant folds the panel into a strip whose one button brings it back. While it works, each step appears as it finishes, and Stop ends a reply still working.

Find a conversation

The list covers every assistant: tables, lead searches, agents and Chat itself. Search conversations filters it by name, and a row’s menu offers Pin, Rename and Delete; pinned rows stay at the top. A conversation from a table, a search or an agent opens read-only, with one Open button back to its page. The assistant can only change what it can see.

Delete a conversation

Delete asks once, then withdraws anything still waiting in it: a column suggestion, or an action waiting for Approve. Columns you already added, and actions you already approved, stay.

Good to know

The work and any spend end within a moment, and the reply reads “Stopped by you”. What was already written is kept as far as it got, with the steps it took folded above it. A stopped reply does not count against the daily allowance.
Yes, in this browser. On a narrow window the panel becomes a sheet at the bottom of the page instead, with a corner button when you dismiss it, and that is dismissed per page.
Only you. Every conversation is tied to your account, on any device. An older table conversation started before that rule wears a Shared chip and stays visible to the whole workspace.
A deleted conversation is removed for good after 30 days. A conversation nobody has touched for a year is removed too.
A free workspace shares a daily allowance of AI Assistant messages across everyone in it and every assistant, and it resets at midnight UTC. When it is reached, the AI Assistant answers “You have reached today’s limit for the AI Assistant. Come back tomorrow.” A reply that fails or is stopped does not count, and a paid workspace has no cap.
Your business context, plus the names of your tables, sequences, saved searches and connected destinations, and the columns of any table you name. It matches names exactly. A name it cannot match, or one that fits two things, creates no action, and the reply says so.
It can add a column, save a search, create a table from a saved search, run a column, enrich rows, add contacts to a sequence, push rows to a connected tool and call an endpoint. Each change arrives as a card naming its price in credits, or Free. Anything on the workspace’s allowed list applies at once with Undo; the rest waits for Approve, and a send always asks. They moved from this browser to your account the first time you opened the editor after the change, so they now follow you to any device and appear in this list.
