Check the column mapping
Reopen Import a CSV and look at the mapping step. A column mapped to the wrong field, or left unmapped, explains most wrong tables.

Check the row count
A file with more rows than your plan holds imports up to the limit. The import dialog says so before Create table is pressed.

Check the file itself
Open the file in a spreadsheet. A missing header row or values shifted by a column reads as garbage on any importer.

Yes. Fix the file or the mapping and import a fresh table, then delete the wrong one.
Why is Create table greyed out?

The import needs at least one mapped column it can use. Tick at least one column, and give any duplicate names their own, and the button comes alive.
