# Message templates

> Save an email you will send again, start from a ready-made sequence, or have one written for you.

A message template is a saved subject and body, variables included, ready to drop into any step. Save one from the composer, start a new sequence from a ready-made cadence, or describe a goal and let AI draft the whole thing.

## Save and reuse a message

    In the composer, click **Save as template** and name it.

    Open any composer, click the templates icon, then search or browse and click a template to insert it.

    Rename, duplicate or delete a template from its own row in the list.

## Start from a ready-made sequence

A new sequence opens a gallery: **AI Assistant**, a blank **Custom sequence**, and several named cadences. Each cadence, like **3-step email outreach** or **Multichannel: combined outreach**, is badged with its email and LinkedIn step counts. Clicking one opens a read-only preview of its real steps, and **Use template** is what actually commits it.

## Have AI write one

Describe the campaign's goal, or pick a starting point like **Book demo meetings**, then click **Generate**. It drafts the whole cadence from your workspace's context and the audience table's real columns, and you edit the result like any other sequence. Drafting spends credits; nothing sends until you launch it.

    Yes. **Custom sequence** opens a blank canvas, and **Set up manually** does the same from inside the AI Assistant screen.

    Sequence, LinkedIn or inbox reply. The picker opens on the scope you were writing in, with an all-templates tab one click away.

    Yes, drafting itself has a cost. Nothing is sent to a contact until you launch the sequence.
