# Connect senders and mailboxes

> Connect the mailboxes your sequences send from, invite a teammate to connect their own, and assign mailboxes to a sender.

Before a sequence can send anything, it needs a sender with a connected mailbox behind
it. The **Senders & mailboxes** page is where you set both up.

## Two tabs, one page

The **Senders** tab lists your sender profiles. A sender profile is one person your
sequences send as, and its mailboxes rotate underneath that one name and signature.
Click **New sender profile** to add one.

The **Mailboxes** tab lists every connected email account with its health and daily
sending limits. Four tiles filter the list: **Mailboxes**, **Disconnected**,
**Sent yesterday**, and **Sent today**. A fifth card, **Capacity left today**, shows how
many more emails your connected mailboxes can still send today, combined.

## Connect a mailbox

    Pick who this mailbox sends as from the **Sender profile** field, or leave it on
    **Assign later** and assign it afterward.

    Under **Connect existing inboxes**, click **Connect** next to
    **Google Workspace / Gmail**, the only method live today. **Microsoft 365 / Outlook**
    and **IMAP / SMTP** are marked **Soon**.

    Pick the account you send from and approve the requested access. You land back on
    the dashboard with the mailbox added.

  Only Google Workspace and Gmail connect today. Your workspace admin may need to
  allowlist Oneprofile first. The connect dialog links to Google's own admin guide for
  that.

## Import mailboxes from InboxKit

If you buy dedicated cold-email inboxes from InboxKit, connect them in bulk instead of
one at a time. Click **Import from InboxKit** on the **Mailboxes** tab, or click
**Import** in the connect dialog's **Buy inboxes** section.

If your workspace has not connected InboxKit yet, the dialog walks you through that
first. Once connected, it lists every inbox in your InboxKit workspace as a searchable
table, each row showing its domain and a status of **Imported**, **Ready**,
**Authorizing…**, or **Auth failed**. Tick the inboxes you want, set a **Daily send
limit** if you don't want the default, then click **Import** (it counts how many you've
selected). A newly bought domain can take a few minutes to authorize behind the scenes.
A banner on the **Mailboxes** tab tracks how many have imported so far, even after you
close the dialog.

## Invite a teammate to connect their mailbox

Google only grants a mailbox to whoever is signed in at the browser, so you can't
connect a colleague's inbox for them. Send them a link instead.

    Click **Create connect link**. The link stops working on the date shown, and
    creating a new one later does not disable the old one.

    Send the link to your teammate. They sign in with Google and their mailbox attaches
    to that sender. They need no Oneprofile account of their own.

If a link leaks or someone leaves, click **Revoke all links** to kill every link sent for
that sender at once.

## Assign mailboxes to a sender

A mailbox only sends through a sequence once it belongs to a sender. Open a sender from
the **Senders** tab and tick the mailboxes it should use. Unticking a mailbox leaves it
connected. It just sits unused until you assign it elsewhere.

## Health hints

The **Mailboxes** tab's **Recommendations** column shows what to fix on each row, as
clickable chips:

* **Reconnect**: the mailbox can't send until you reconnect it
* **Add a sender**: nobody sends from this mailbox until you assign it to a sender
* **High bounces**: this mailbox's bounce rate is above the alert threshold
* **Add signature**: emails send with no signature until you set one

<Tip>
  A disconnected mailbox pauses every sequence that depends on it. That's why the tab
  also surfaces a warning banner and a **Disconnected** tile the moment one drops.
