# List the records an import run skipped

> Which records a connected-tool import read and left out of the table, and why: no value for the field rows are matched on, or a match value an earlier record in the same page already had. Each names the record the way to find it in the tool (its name or email, else another of its ids). Records past the row limit are not here: the run never read them, and says so in `stopped_at_row_limit`.

Why an import read one of the tool's records and left it out of the

Per record, and only for records the run actually read. Stopping at the

row limit is deliberately NOT one of these: the records past the limit
        were

never read (most tools are asked for exactly the room left), so how many

there are is unknowable and which ones is an accident of page size. A
        run

records THAT it stopped (``stopped_at_row_limit``) instead.

``DUPLICATE`` is a different record carrying a match value an earlier
        one

in the same page already has. The provider returning one record twice is

not a skip: the record is in the table.
